Echo and the Bunneymen
Years - 1978-88 (Mark II to 92), Electrafixion in 1995, and recently back together: "We've done two batches of demos, about 16 or 17 songs in total. It's probably more melodic than the old stuff, but it's just stronger songs somehow - maybe slightly less pretentious."

Elegant Machinery
Years - We started in the winter of 1988/89.
Best Song - Our biggest succes is the song "Process", from the album "Degraded Faces", which reached as high as number 5 on the official Spanish chart. But my own EM favorite songs are: "Restrain", the B-side on the "Watching You" single and "Blind Man Dreams" from the latest album "Yesterday Man".
Origin - Helsingborg in the very south of Sweden.
Driving Force - We are still stuck in the New Romantic and Synthpop scene, with bands like Yazoo, Human League, Ultravox, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Data and Robert Marlow. Our main goal is to keep this Synthpop scene running.

Driving Force - "The first step towards perfecting the Eurythmics was by getting away from the usual format where you have five member in a group. They're the ones who usually have their pictures taken together, travel in limousines and so on. Suddenly you find yourself in the position of working with a group of musicians whether the musical ideas are progressing or not."
